Dear Jazz Friends,

First and foremost, we want you to know we are planning a very special gathering of musical entertainment just for you! More in a minute, but first, a moment of reflection...

We were just 35 years old when we came to help Tom and Barb with the first Sun Valley Jazz Jamboree. That was 35 years ago!

Thankfully, Jeff’s recent open-heart surgery was successful, but we have since been reevaluating our commitments and levels of stress moving forward.

Our desire has always been for the music to continue, and to that end we have modified the event into a hybrid music festival/jazz party format:

• All music will be performed in the Limelight Ballroom.
• There will be a total of 400 available seats, including reserved sponsor seats. A limited number of day/evening session passes will be available.
• You will enjoy 36 hours of music between Thursday evening, Oct. 17th and Sunday afternoon, Oct. 20th.
• Sometimes, musicians will be mixed and matched in unique groupings, giving opportunity for "once-in-a-lifetime" performances.

• NEW! Sun Valley Company will be offering meal packages, including delicious brunch and dinner buffet options (with plenty of hot coffee) in the Continental Room. The Continental Room will have open seating where you can mingle OR you can take your food back to the Limelight Ballroom, so you don't miss a minute of the music.
• How you can help: Please reserve your lodging at the Sun Valley Resort and tell them you are coming for JAZZ. To get the special jazz rate, which is a significant reduction from their regular rates, call 800-786-8259.
